Under the mentorship of renowned photographer Louis Mendes, I crafted a distinctive brand identity for an Instant Polaroid venture. This involved designing custom signage and a personalized stamp for photo folders, building a custom Instax back for a 4x5 Graflex camera, and managing targeted social media promotions. These efforts seamlessly combined traditional photography techniques with innovative presentation, enhancing the overall aesthetic and engagement of the Polaroids.
Branding: Capturing Timeless Moments with Instant Polaroids
In the digital age, this project offered travelers from six continents a tangible piece of New York City. Using a 1940s press camera, I captured memories of friends, families, and couples. Each client walked away with a photo in a custom-branded sleeve—a lasting memento rather than just a digital file.
Social Media Engagement
I cultivated an organic social media following by featuring clients' Polaroid photos. This approach not only showcased the unique, tangible qualities of the instant photos but also connected a community of photography enthusiasts.
Advertising: Strategic Signage
Custom signage was used across New York City, including on the Brooklyn Bridge, to effectively promote the Instant Polaroid experience to a diverse audience.
